Engine bay work
«

Just thought I would share some before and after photos of work currently being carried out on my car.
There were a few annoying leaks on engine and quite a major leak on torque converter which I needed addressing and the engine bay itself was in need of major tlc.
Anyway, very happy with the results so far.

Looks great Ifty!
Did you do it yourself or had it done?
Dieter
PS, mine needs the same treatment, some minor old age leaks, I can live with it, however, ilke to correct it.

Thanks Rolf
No, I had the work done by the guys who found me the car in the first place.
I wish I had the skills to carry out the work myself.
I've attached a few more photos.

Hi Ifty,
Nice work on the engine and enginebay.
This would be the perfect time to get those
parts of the enginebay visible thru the grill painted satin black (using a brush).
If not familiar with the subject, a search here will give answers to what is painted
black and what stays the car color as this has been discussed previously.
If not I'll dig out some pictures.
Cheers,
Hans

Engine now back in place but unfortunately a few nasties uncovered in wheel arches/floorpan.
Sod's law as the weather has been fantastic for driving this past month.
Anyway, a few more photos below.

Collected my car last week and typically the heavens have opened up pretty much incessantly.
Fortunately, this week has been much better so was able to take photos of finished engine work.
