Refinish Brake Booster
« on: May 31, 2017, 23:34:38 »
I have pulled the Brake Booster and master cylinder as I begin working my way through refinishing the engine compartment.
I am wondering how people have dealt with the attach points on the Brake Booster that are supposed to be Cad plated. Do you disassemble and send them out, or do you send the entire unit out for a refinish? And, who do you send it to?

On very rare occasions where it is really impractical or impossible to cad plate a part I resort to spray can paint.   I use two different colors and it gives a nice variation of color.  I have a couple paint codes In the garage if you want them.
