Finally got the power I want on my 64 230SL

First picture when I sent my engine to the local shop in BKK to overhauled with new FI pump.  I felt that the car should have more power then I decided to take it to dyno and got 100HP with 140 torque.  Then I got to know this guy who is Porsche race car mechanic which my friend introduced to take a look at my car.  Turned out that crank shaft not balance and caused pistons damaged.  I then got all new set of pistons and the guy adjusted camshaft angle a bit using woodruffs to bring torque curve forward for better acceleration.  HP went up substantially to 123HP and torque 166 which is quite pleased. However, he told me that there also some issue with fuel injections head after he has ran some test.  And here we go after I installed new FI my 230SL now has 130HP with 175 Torque at the wheels.  I'm very happy now that my car should run as it left the factory.

X2, good for you to pursue this, and it again confirms the value of having experienced craftsmen take care of these cars. We have a number of them here and I encourage everyone who is in a position to to make use of their services (Joe Alexander aka JA17, Colin Furns aka Stick and rudderman, Dan Caron aka BenzDr to name a few).

30% power loss is a lot if the car fall into wrong hands.

Pretty hard to refute the results of a dyno test.
