There has been discussion on where to make a post like this.
I don't believe there was a real conclusion. I know I can't post in the "for sale" area without a price, so I thought I would try this.

I want to inform all that my Anthracite Pagoda is up for sale on Bring a Trailer. The sale will end in a week on Thursday.
If you have any questions you can PM me or post here.

Also, for those that don't know "Bring a Trailer", it is a very interesting site and I believe they have created a way to make selling an interesting car fun. For the week that a car is up for sale, the seller gets to interact with potential buyers in a Forum setting. Prior to this, selling a car has always been a time consuming chore for me. With this new way of selling, if the reserve is realistic, there is a reasonable probability that the car will sell in a week. If it happens like that, that will be a big improvement for how I've done it in the past.
Wish me luck !!

Mark,

I am assuming that Bring a Trailer allow a reserve to be put on there.  Therefor you must know what you are prepared to sell it for.  Knowing that, why dont you put the vehicle up on this forum and add some extra amount to it and see if anyone here wants to negotiate with you to purchase before going to the general public.  You get your reserve, if you are a good negotiator you may get more, nothing different to Bring a Trailer and a win win all round for the Pagoda Group and its members both seller and buyer.  And the Group doesn't have sellers that just post cross references to other selling sites.

Garry,
At this point it has gone to the general public at BAT. I cannot sell it outside of that auction. It is an agreement.
It will meet the reserve and sell at BAT, or it won't and won't.
But, it sure seems like good general info for those that are interested.
See you in VA !!

Hi Mark,
that was fun but I expected the reserve to be at $65K.
Looks like you got what you wanted for it, congrats!

Thank you Alfred !
I'm glad you had fun with it. I had spread the word to many family members and friends, so I got many responses that they also enjoyed the action.
You are probably correct that it is worth more than $65k, but it was easy and quick to sell on BaT, so there is some value in that. I'm very happy with the sale and now I can concentrate on my blue one ("Grey-Blue").
I look forward to seeing you in a few weeks.
