What is my 5 Speed 280SL worth
« on: October 05, 2017, 19:12:44 »
I have a 1971 280 SL, 2nd owner, 5 Speed Manual  I have had it since 1981, never in an accident, stripped down to bare metal, repainted Pistachio w/matching new German Sonnenland Cloth soft top, all new wood, recovered seats, new carpet, new brakes all around, re chromed all bumpers, new head liner w/new wood, re covered dash board in matching leather, engine block with matching numbers, maybe 1,000 mile on rebuilt engine..... the car is stunning.

Stunning ... like in shocking?  ;D
Price could be anywhere from $50K - $150K, a more specific price range will require lots of photos, especially undercarriage details, and info on the shop that rebuilt the engine.
