Last evening my wife was watching the movie “Ti recordo di me?” (Roughly-Do you remember me?), filmed in Rome in 2013 and released in 2014. I happened to look up from my Ipad to see a couple chatting in a pagoda, sans hard top, and filmed from behind. The car shortly sped away and a light brown 280SL with Roma license plates was revealed. I kept one eye on the film until the end without seeing another pagoda sequence so I think it was a one off shot.
This is a little out of the ordinary for Italy as it is usually a Fiat, Alfa or Ferrari, depending on the desired effect.
