I would (if in your shoes) contact the Classic Center and have someone go by to inspect the car looks like the car is (if so) only 46 miles from the Classic Centre location.

Or
I would check the “Member List” (click on Members above, then Members list once it opens click on location this will sort by location. You can then page thru the list to California Members), the list sorts by location, then page thru to California Members and PM someone near the cars location. Perhaps that someone knows a shop near by that looks at Pagoda’s on the other hand most of those shops might be in the LA area.
Or
I would find a Garage near the LA area that works on German cars, I always had good luck with Euro Specialty Shops to handle issues on my German cars.
Remember, some members near where the car is located might not be looking into the forum in the foreseeable time that you need help.
