quarter window rubber seals
« on: April 13, 2017, 11:28:36 »
I am replacing the rubber seals on my hardtop quarter windows and unfortunately I lost my disassembly photos so I don't know which way the rubber sits on the glass. (ie which is the out facing side of the rubber)  would anyone have a good close up photo to help??

cheers............Paul

Hi, I have no photo, but when you look at the rubber seal, on one side there are lips cut along the lengths that will overlap the outside window chrome pieces. You can carefully run your fingernail or a pen point down the length of the overlap lips.

Hi, several years ago I forwarded a copy of the MB setup to remove and replace these, to the website. It was cleaned up by Peter E and put into the onboard technical manual somewhere.  Should still be there
