St. Patrick's Day Drive
« on: March 18, 2018, 02:00:18 »
Rain and fog in the morning but nice Spring sunshine in the afternoon here in Alabama.  Just right for a late afternoon drive. Dunkeloliv may not be quite the right shade of green for St. Patrick's day but it is the best I can do. 8)

Ralph,

Sounded like a normal Irish morning, rain fog, maybe not cold enough.  ;D

 Nice.

Charles, I was sitting here thinking that exact same thing.

Ralph,
We still need a few more good rains to get the salt off the roads before we can drive.

Wow, that is some serious snow!

Contrary to popular belief we do get a little snow here on rare occasions.  This winter we had two. "The big one," this year for us was six inches on December 8.  Fortunately it lasts only a day or two and no salt is used except on some major routes.  We therefore miss little driving time.

Wishing you an early Spring and a quick thaw!
