foot dimmer on first made Pagoda's
« on: July 21, 2018, 06:12:29 »
Hello, was there a foot dimmer placed on the first made Pagoda's ?  I can't find the high beam headlight switch.

the problem is that the high light only works when I trow the column switch..

and the other problem is that the low lights doesn't work.. :-(

so i have to ride with the fog lights on

or weren't the first Pagoda's equipped with the high beam headlight switch.. ?

My 64’s high beam switch is on the floor, activated by my left foot. I have a LHD.

When you look into EPC, you have early PN A0005451112 then a later one A0005451212. There is no information "As of chassis...." - nothing like that. That would suggest it was there, but this is a theory.

Thank You Pawel66 and CCollum.  It is right.  From the beginning, there was a foot dimmer.

Yesterday, I looked for about 4 hours for electrical wiring of the foot dimmer..  and found nothing.  No white or yellow wire that was lost, loss or cut off.  Also the withe/yellow that that starts from the light switch..  I don't see it elsewhere..

On the fuses, I see a big white arriving and a small going away, also a big yellow and small yellow (they go to the front lights)

Well, perhaps one of the POs just slaughtered the wires and connected power feed from light switch to high beam power supply, omitting the dimmer switch. Then it is just a matter of finding the appropriate wires with multimeter or routing them again.

It sounds like you have the wiring diagram.
