Paint recommendation
« on: July 25, 2018, 17:08:10 »
Hi,
In the process of deteming the paint to use. The paint shop and I agree on using Glasurit. He is recommending Glusurit 22 single stage. I was thinking base and clear coat.
Any suggestions/pros and cons?
He is the sourcing 22 line.

Thanks.

That's what I've used and had good results with it. Base clear gives you a better, long lasting shine, but single stage gives you a more correct look. You decide.

I have had both done and the base/clear is far superior in long lasting paint jobs.  I would never do a single stage again for a car I intended to use and expose to the elements over a long period.  Just my 2 cents.

I used Glasurit base/clear - very happy. Is there not more polishing opportunities with clear layers on top?
