Rear end trouble

I had to remove the recently replaced grooved nut which holds the rear driveshaft flange to the rear end.  The nut froze and I'm having a %$#@* of a time tring to remove it.  I believe in doing so I've damaged the outer bearing.  What is involved in replacing the out and inner bearing?  I've replaced all rear seals and axle bearings, and refinished all axle and bell housings.  This problem arose when I was reassembling the rear end mount.   :x

If the nut is stuck, I sympathise with the %$#@*
To avoid any further damage your choices are limited, either get it really hot (Oxy-acet) or split it
Check your threads afterwards. get them chased if required.

I don't know about replacing bearings in this case, but I suspect you will have to check preloads etc and ensure the correct size shims are used. probably the seals, if any, will be goosed too.
