« on: August 27, 2018, 17:29:50 »
What kind of paint is used on the rear axel, high temp or standard paint?

I use regular paint. Axle never gets that hot.

An automotive grade of black enamel using a catalyst activator resists oil grease and chemicals the best. You can specify the amount of gloss. I think satin black is correct.

I use VHT chassis and Roll bar paint. Available at most Auto Parts Stores holds up well. Satin not gloss.

I used a black epoxy primer from Southern Polyurethanes.  Designed to be exposed and tough as nails.
