To cure a rich mixture problem with an engine that has only been recently running, I removed the WRD and checked to make certain the sliding valve operates easily, and also replaced the thermostat. After reinstalling the WRD, I found that the car started immediately but refused to idle (which it had before I removed the WRD). By disconnecting the air line to the WRD, the car now starts immediately as before and will now idle (slightly fast however). Blocking the air line to the CSV with my finger will immediately kill the engine. The IP air filter is almost brand new and doesn't appear to have any air restriction. Is there still a problem inside the WRD, specifically the sliding valve, or is the issue with the CSV now? Any help steering me in the right direction will be sincerely appreciated.
