The Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama was held April 5-7. Attached are a few shots taken in the Hagerty Car Corral on Saturday and Sunday.
On qualifying day Saturday the Black Pagoda sans top was in the Hagerty Car Corral but not parked with the other MB cars. I checked several times during the day but never saw the owner. I left one of Martijn's
www.sl113 calling cards in his ash tray.
On race day, Sunday, I took my car and parked it in the Car Corral and it was the only Pagoda that day. During the day I talked to a gentlemen admiring my car and it turned out to be the owner of the black Pagoda from Saturday. He thanked me for the card and said he was anxious to look at this site. He is a Birmingham resident but I had not seen this car around town.
During the day I spoke with another Pagoda owner admiring my car who happened to be the owner of the Pagoda I photographed and reported in the "Pagoda Spotting" thread on January 9, 2019. He is not a member here so I also gave him a sales pitch on our group.
We managed to get through the week end with no day time rain so overall the Grand Prix weekend was a great success with a lot of good racing.
