Headlight bezel
« on: May 31, 2019, 12:33:24 »
Question: Is there a difference between the Euro and US headlight bezel?
I am asking this question because I see that in advertisings it often is called out as Euro style bezel.
Thanks, Urban

I believe they are the same.  I brought my car back to the US in 1969 and bought the US lenses at that time.  I used the same bezel.  At least that is what I remember. I sill have the European lenses but not another set of bezels

My US bezels did not fit on the euro headlights. I had to 'dremel' off a small notch on the inside. Then they fit fine.

My experience has been different, having moved the trim rings back and forth between Euro and US headlights, without mods. Maybe some minor differences between units can cause a problem; but likely not big problems.
