Transmission Shifter
« on: July 03, 2019, 13:51:22 »
Hello
my car came with this odd shifter lever and I never saw this kind in any other Pagoda.
Since I am planning to rebuilt the shifter linkage (again) I wonder if I should replace it.
Hopefully someone here has a shifter available to sell?
Any comments are appreciated.
Thank you, Urban

I have an extra original one with the thick metal base plate that it sits in.

However,  the PO had it shortened by ~2 inches.  It's very comfortable to shift (maybe even more comfortable ).

If interested, pm me your email address and I can send you pictures.

I say keep it if it feels good shifting.

Get into another Pagoda and compare. You may not like the stock shifter.

Urban

I have an extra one.  If I can find it I'll give it to you.

Give me a couple days.

PO loaned his Pagoda to his friend Bruce Banner for the weekend and the shifter has never been the same since!

To mrfatboy:
Sorry but I am not interested in a modified one, I just could keep what I got, because my point is to get it right.
Thanks, anyway.
BTW I cannot send you a PM since you have no email address listed in your profile.
Thanks, Urban

To hauser:
That would be great. Very much appreciated. Please let me know.
Thanks, Urban
