« on: February 14, 2005, 20:04:52 »
Hello everyone

Still in persue of my dream Pagoda. Does anyone know a good MB/Pagoda mechanic in the Richmond area, VA. I have a car there that I need to inspect before bying. I need a real good mechanic who knows how these cars drive and operate.

Thanks, wish me good luck

You may want to post the same request at http://www.190slgroup.com/

I know they have a few active members in the Richmond area who may also know pagodas.

Let me know when you get your car as I am also in Northern VA.

Import Autohaus on West Broad St. does a lot of MB work & did an inspection on my car ('66 230SL 5 spd) & was the regular repair shop for it before I bought it in '02. They have a decent reputation over a long time. Don't have contact #, but should be easily found. Also the Central Virginia section of the Mercedes Club of America is headquartered in Richmond, Greg Magnus is president and likely would be willing to help. If you're not already a MBCA member, give it some thought. $45/year & the Star magazine worth that alone. Good Luck with purchase.  -JP-
