E-brakes for 230Sls
« on: February 21, 2005, 14:27:58 »
Hey. One of my projects before Spring is to replace my e-brake cables. I have already tried once -- only to have my mechanic find the cable pulleys were seized and worhtless. These are the pulleys that attach to rear wheels. So I have ordered new ones. I already have the cables. Has anyone else done this job? I am wondering if it is something I might be able to tackle. Any clues or pictures of the proper routing would also be welcome. Thanks!

Hi James,
Sorry no pictures.
One of my pulley bolts was fused to the pulley and could not be pushed out. But it can be easily drilled out - soft aluminum bolt (if its original).
