Sterling Moss video
« on: September 05, 2019, 22:35:14 »
Hi,
In researching the 230SL of Stirling Moss I came across this video on his racing career.  It is worth watching if you have time.  If not skip forward to 29:20 and watch the actor Patrick Stewart pilot a 300SL Gullwing on the course of the Mille Miglia with Sir Sterling Moss as his passenger.  Stewart who is normally the essence of cool is a giddy as a schoolboy.

Wow, two of my favorite things together in one place: Mercedes Gullwings and Star Trek!

What a legend is Sir Stirling Moss.  Shame he did not get to drive the Ferrari!
Great video, thanks for sharing.

OMG! This was so far off the charts, you can't even see the charts. I liked Stewart's comment, "If we had a title of National Treasure, Sir Stirling would be the first to get it!"
Thanks for posting the link.
