Nothing wrong with driving a Bimer. I drove them from 1987 to 2013 (535 is, several ///M3) then I found my Pagoda and left all the Bimer’s behind

Hi to the forum members.  I appreciate the interest in the track photos from the space station. In fact, I took a photo of every F1, MotoGP, and IndyCar track from space for the 2018 racing season...and watched every race while in space.  This is to say that every race was either live-streamed on board, or I watched a time delay version.  If you want to see them all, there may be a link in that article but you can also see them on Instagram and Twitter at @Astro_Feustel  Please don't get the wrong impression about how we spend our time up there. All photos were taken at times that did not conflict with our work and races were watched on the weekends (we get about a day and a half of down time each weekend to clean house and have a break).

I do have a 1970 Pagoda that I am restoring.  I've been restoring cars since my teens and actually did it for a living while attending community college back in the early 80's.  Still at it after all these years.

This is a great forum. A wealth of information and lots of friendly and helpful members.  Thanks again for the interest and I hope to post some pics of my project one of these days as well.

It's interesting to see that Silverstone has now almost completely lost its identity as an ex WW2 airfield.

Yeah, but if you look closely you can still see it.  Silverstone was one of my best...and one of the hardest to take because it took me a while (a month or so) to find it because the geography is so homogeneous as viewed through a camera lens from space

Thanks Peter.  At the risk of starting up the "coil spring debate" again (I know because I have scoured all of the past posts on this subject), I may post in the suspension section my plan for springs, based upon some guesstimates, observations, and calculations of my own...what's the fun if you don't experiment just a bit...
