Author Topic: Removing Rear quarter window on ‘68 W111 coupe - electric  (Read 2106 times)

Any body have any experience with dismantling the entire rear window mechanism for a W111 coupe with electric windows? Door panel is already off. This has the earlier 3 wire motor that has a seperate gear head and is connected by a rubber coupling.

Looks like four parts to me. 1)The plate on top that unbolts on the inside 2) the window regulator with motor and gear drive 3) The large plate with the guides for the sliders and 4) the glass itself.

I think I can figure it out but would sure like to hang on someone else’s experience here.
