That’s truly a beautiful combo you have there Sebastian.
It seems we have similar carpet? I’m toying with the idea of replacing the carpet with a nice square weave in Oatmeal.

Gary - Not quite ready yet, but you will be my first call when l am.
I agree - it seems most of the 250SL’s that are for sale are Cal Coupe’s - which are not so practical in Melbourne. I don’t think there will be too many other RHD 250SL’s, 4 speed, with both tops.

Right now l am trying to sell my 928S4 ( My daily) as l wish to get a W108 or W109 3.5 Sedan as my daily ( hoping for White with Cognac interior).

Running out of space so l prefer to sell first.

Cheers

Ha! I didn't even notice - I just took that photo at a Buddy's workshop and there are always special cars in there.....especially Ferrari's. He does work on car interiors and these days his staple work is to fix the "sticky" interiors / panels in Ferrari's. During a certain production period  (not all that long ago) all the Ferrari (and Maserati I think) electrical switches go "sticky" and need to stripped back, repainted and laser printed.

You could say Italian quality (or lack of) put his kids through school :)

p.s - You often hear me poke fun at Italians / Italian quality. Mainly because I am first generation Italian (born in Aust. to Italian migrants). Don't get me wrong - I love Italian cars - hence my Alfa's. My friend has a 246 Dino which I believe is the best car I've ever driven.
