has anyone seen this before????
« on: July 22, 2020, 21:40:59 »
My tranny dipstick keeps "popping up".  I seat it on the tube - take a short drive and it's moved up on the tube about 3/4".  I'm hoping it's just vibration and fearing that there's excess pressure in the tranny?  Any help would be greatly appreciated..

There is a vent on the top of the transmission which could be plugged. Might be hard to get to?

Well, I guess that vent was hard to see as well..  I looked for one and couldn't find it..  Will now find it and make sure it's working..  THANKS

Thank you so much..  Is there a way to get to it?  I just got out from under the car and couldn't even see it..

I expect via one of these two “service openings”.

Maybe others have a better idea.
