Canvas Seat Covers

The seats in my '67 250 SL, late model are the original smooth MB Tex that has been splitting in various places and coming apart, especially on the drivers seat.
I am not ready to take the plunge for new seat upholstery and in the interim would like to buy a pair of canvas or denim seat covers. I recall having seen them in navy blue with a silver MB star on the seat back. They looked good.  Does anyone know where they can be obtained or who makes them ?

My advice is save the money and do it right. New mb-Tex covers are $500.  You will be glad you did. A good weekend project for someone with beginner to intermediate DIY skills. 👍 If you get into trouble there are plenty of people here that can help.

You may also find that you prefer to change the seat pads also.
You can get Foam or the original horsehair.

There is plenty of info in the Tech Manual on the seats,also a link to refurbishment, All in all quite an easy job.

I have just rebuilt both mine, with new pads from SLS,

Zak hope you dont mind me high jack your forum,but while you are talking  re
MB tex vinly seats,thought i would mention about this incredible protectant.
I have been using this now for only about  10 years, , would always use
Armorall.
It is  303 PROTECTANT,ultimate UV protection.
I have MB tex on my Pagoda, and the seats are fairly old,and this product is  terrific,
especially here in Australia ,with our bad UV  sun ,think its the worst in world,
This product lasts alot longer,with a superior harder finish.
