calibration injection pump

I am shipping my 230 sl back from the Middle East to the republic of Ireland. It seems that the timing of the engine has to be adjusted and that the injection pump has to be calibrated. Any advise where to go in Ireland?

Herbert,

Are you shipping it to Ireland because this work needs done, or are you shipping it anyway and would rather wait for the work to be done in Ireland instead of in the Middle East?

Hi Herbert,
There are a number of Pagoda owners here in Dublin but there are very few people who will even look at these cars let alone work on them. There is certainly no-one who could recalibrate or work on the pump internals.I may be able to get you someone who could "tune" the car but if the pump needs work you will have to have it removed and sent to a sepcialist in the UK, someone like "Tower Bridge Diesels" who are Bosch pump specialists !

You can email me at ben.cosgrave@mercedes-benz-club.co.uk if you require any more help !

Regards,
Ben in Ireland.

Rodd,
The shipping is for 1 reason. The reason is re-patriating however I have also looked around in Kuwait and they can not do it but if you have a suggestion please let me know I can hold on the shipping for a little while.

Ben the car has been  restorated in Q8 and was "fine" before they started working on it so I am not sure if it "tuning" or more complicate

The car is ready for shipping according the garage who restored it.   So Gents any reccommendation is welcome
