Pull out light switch
« on: August 29, 2020, 03:14:00 »
So I have a 68 280 that was originally a euro delivery. My good fried has a 69 us spec. My light switch both turns and pulls out. His only turns. Is this a model year thing or a country of delivery issue?

For the US and Canada I have PN for this switch:

A 000 545 20 04 optional with A 000 545 26 04

For the world I have exactly the same PN.

Ditto - just checked my 280 SL, US spec, turn the light switch and then pull it out.

I am not 100% sure, but it seems to me the idea for Europe is that front antifog lights are allowed only when the short headlights are on. That is how cars are built today and i think we concluded this here on the forum as well that so are Pagodas built. That is why turn first, then pull.

Then i remember I was checking lights switch for someone and it turned out the Euro and the US part no. were the same.

But I may be wrong.
