The auto trans was reconditioned in 2006 and has only recently been installed and driven. It leaked.
So bought a new seal kit for the modulator, which came with a new external plate,diaphram disc, inner plastic plate, and a thicker,softer gasket /seal. This is now leaking as well.
The only difference in all the parts is the seal removed ( after the first leak ) was a stiffer paper type.
The inner plastic plate does not APPEAR to be damaged. Is there a torque value on the fixing bolts.
Has any one been able to resolve the same problem ?
