My 230SL model car
« on: December 26, 2020, 22:13:02 »
Seasons Greetings to All,

Santa was good to me this year. This is the best die cast model I have ever seen!

Scale is 1:18 and licensed by Daimler. Norev is the brand. A very high quality item.

It is great!

I have a business card somewhere of a guy I met on one of the classic shows in Warsaw who can personalize them and make it you car after a day of photo session.

Years ago I could do it myself, but mu sight has worsened...

Have not had a close look at the Norev model, but I have one each in 1:18 from Schuco and Anson. Thought they were pretty nice

Now I want one too.
It will serve the purpose. Instead of unswerving the questions about the body shell  and the several parts piles I’ll just point to the model.

Thanks!

It indeed (the base) looks similar to the one shown in the first post.
