Under dash Panels
« on: December 06, 2020, 00:38:20 »
The original was a compressed cardboard type of material. Is there generic material available to make these out of? Or what materials are recommended.
I know mb sells blanks but they are pretty pricey.

Check your local upholstery shop. They usually sell cardboard water resistant panels. They work well for the job.

The real issue is the outside texture of the panels. How authentic do you want it? I ended up covering mine with extra MB Tex that I had left over. Matches my new seat coverings.

Excellent... Not too fussed about the texture. I might cover mine too.

Don’t forget the 10nm foam on the back.
