Wanted: Southern California locksmith
« on: July 07, 2020, 14:36:23 »
Hi all,
Any recommendations for a locksmith in Southern California who knows how to work on our cars?
I need my trunk lock matched to the rest of the car, and a key made for a gas cap.
It's a roll of the dice on the web, and most of them only work on the electronic locks and reprogramming. The dealer (Mercedes South Bay) is no help and has no recommendations.
Thanks
Gary

Who can tell me how I can get a locksmith certificate and how it differs from a license?

I would remove the trunk lock and gas cap and replace gas cap with generic, and mail trunk lock, gas cap, and a key to whoever you find googling....
