(casting number, it%u2019s not a valid EPC number)
Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but I found the above statement interesting and I would like to learn more.
We are on the topic of M127 engine. Conrods part numbers are reflected on the casting for the first two versions (as later listed by 114015). The third and final version part number starts with 108 which leads me to believe that it came from the 108 sedan.
And quick check confirmed, that is the case,

I%u2019m looking at he example where they don%u2019t, just like Stick mentioned.
I got the conrod with the casting number 108 038 02 01, how do I go about finding the associated part number?
