I taught for BMW almost 15 years ago now.  At that time I thought there would eventually be something like this on a "Heads up" display like Google glass.  You would have your best diagnosticians figure out what is wrong then a junior tech with this setup would do the repairs.  It still baffles me that good experienced techs are doing things like rotating tires where they can get injured.  That is a big loss that could easily be avoided.
