I thought that mb genuine filter was different and maybe better quality than Mann or Bosch .

No, the Mann Filter and the MB Mann Filter is the same thing. I bought it before from Napa, which takes about a week to get,
I just buy it from MB because of the other parts I replace and the convenience, having just one order for all. Furthermore, with all discounts I am getting with the Classic Center I pay a reasonable price as well.

Why mercedes makes  paper oil filter for our cars ? The genuine mb filters are made by fleece and their capacity to filter is much higher than paper . Is possible an upgrade for better filtration ?
