I wonder if I can get a couple of opinions about my engine vacuum. I have a 108 sedan 1972 280 SE. My manifold vac runs steady at idle at 14. This is with a gauge hooked into the line going to the vac advance on the distributor. The car seems to run fine. Id this what the vac should be. I was just reading for the vac for the brakes needs almost 18 or the pedal will be hard which my pedal is. I don't know if the pedal should be this hard or is it just a because the car is 49 years old. thanks Jim
