How is this trim finished off?
« on: August 21, 2021, 03:50:53 »
How is this trim finished off on either side of the dash? I know the screw goes in then the leather covers it on the triangular lower bit but how about all the other leather? Is this just trimmed or does it tuck on or glued to the chassis?
Thanks everyone!

Looks like the cut edge is hidden under a chrome trim - which I guess you have somewhere?.
This area must be difficult to get right because it looks bad on virtually all cars, original or restored. Hopefully modern glues will do a better job of holding on the concave curve.
