Beyond my comprehension

Believe me, I have no relation or affiliation to the seller, although I live nearby.  A good candidate for "what non-original things do you notice on this 'restored' pagoda?"  Not for the faint of heart.

Brings a whole new  meaning to "cut and shut"!

Mind you, was this the next MB development[:p]

Whatever rows your boat! I wonder how much it will go for...

A design experiment gone wild![:0]

I think this vision will haunt me for a long time! :x

Perhaps this is an example of not choosing your restoration specialist wisely. ;)

Well being as this is a 1965 280SL, could it be the long lost Prototype car :D  To bad there's no pic's of the ultra rare 4 cylinder SL engine[:0]

IF the price does not go any higher may be a candidate for a reconvert?  IF there is no rust!  A lot of things to replace: mirror, steering wheel, TAIL LIGHTS, front side lights (maybe just remove them).  But then it might even have a transplanted US 4 cylinder engine; then run away from this!

This guy obviously had a major adverse reaction to hearing the news that the "all red" tail lights were NLA !

He went out and bought the first set he could..........probably from eBay " Perfect 280SL rear lamps for sale .....etc...etc"
