My first marriage father-in-law owned one of these. Silver with a blue top. Didn't they make this with a 2.5l also?

Not in the UK, but possibly in other parts of the world they were fitted with M123 which is actually a derivative of the M130 which is actually a derivative of M129!
Plenty of UK cars had M110 (280) engine which is also a derivative of the above.

Really nice car.
As far I remember, there were only two engines in program:
the 2,3 (M115 and since 1980 - M102),
and 2,8 (M110) engines with or without fuel injection.

BTW I was thinking, that all Coupes had the wide reflectors, what in case of the limousine and T model were until 1982 reserved only for the 6 cylinder engines.

You all are more of experts than I am, but I am almost sure the W114 came in a 250CE variety.
