I’m having to remove my heater core .. the valve is fully stuck and even the little screw that holds the control arm refuses to budge .. I’m pulling all the required parts from under the dash … it’s a knuckle buster … I’m discovering lots of little but fixable problems like the moulded demister boxes .. which seem to be made of cardboard… need to have the mounting tabs glued back on and reinforced … my question concerns the plastic air box that sits in front of the blower .. mine has a fitting with two threaded holes on one side only … can anyone enlighten me as to its purpose … ?
