Dear Friends
Anyone of you have experience on using an alternate/aftermarket solid state voltage external regulator for the Dynamo (generator) used on Mercedes W109-M189.
As you may know this car came with a Dynamo Generator with an external voltage regulator. Due to the engine configuration and the link between Dynamo and water pump axle it is difficult to or not ideal to switch this car to a modern alternator.
I have seen some aftermarket solid state external voltage regulators for this kind on diverse classic car web pages.
Any one of you have a recommendation?
This car has factory A/c so I need a regulator for a high yield dynamo.
