Radiator over flow
« on: May 19, 2003, 08:13:42 »
Hello 113 Group:

I have a 1965 230 SL.  Has anyone ever built a reservior over flow to save antifreeze, if you over fill?

Thank you,
Rupert

Hi Rupert,

The presently installed coolant reservoir on the firewall already fulfills that job.  If you accidently overfill that, you can either siphon some out, or wait for it to find its own "natural level".  Either way, the radiator will be completely filled.
