This unit does not include the shift linkage or any kind of bell housing. Mileage is 200KM, and he says this was tested in a Mercedes before it was pulled. The transmission code is 717.400 and it is compatible with passenger side starter bell housing.
I can personally attest to the robustness and smooth-shifting of this type transmission, because I have one of these installed in the 300TD-T that I purchased from John.
