Windshield discoloration

My windshield has developed this white fog like patch in the left bottom corner.  Anyone know what is happening here? Do I need a new windshield?

I have an original one that is not too bad, but it is old. no white delamination. Comes with original rubber and chrome trim. Priced sensibly if you can drive to Canada (not shipping this thing).

When my car was restored 20+ years ago, on general principles, I changed the windscreen. By then the original, pitted and worn, was over 30 years old. I've put 20K miles on the car in the past 20 years, and a lot of that highway "at speed". No better way to sandblast a windscreen I'm afraid. So, in the last round of work, I changed it again in 2021. While I try not to drive much at night (gone are the days of zooming home on a Sunday evening in July from Joe's place in Blacklick to Michigan) these days, I'm happy to have a windscreen that can actually be cleaned and free of annoying pits.

Ignoring the de-lamination for a moment, if you clean your windscreen in and out and still don't like looking through it (that was me) time to change it. The de-lamination is only an "accelerant" for you.

My windshield was pretty good and appears to have been replaced shortly before I got the car..  although the installation was not -the chrome trim is somewhat scratched up (probably reused) and does not line up at the bottom. 

I just ordered a new gas tank, old one was full of rust.  I cleaned it out and replaced the screen and added an inline filter.  But I still have fuel cut out when the fuel level goes below 1/2.   And while my fuel pump works, I'm sure I'll need to do something with it soon.

dont toss out the window trim. dents can be removed.

If you start having issues with fuel supply when the fuel level goes lower, I think it may be the flower pot issue. When the fuel level is high, it gets to the flower pot from the top. When it is low, there is this passage described in our Tech Manual at the base of the flower pot and if it is clogged, fuel cannot easily access the flower pot.

Yes, Pawel I did find the reason for the issue in multiple forum threads which is why I ordered a new fuel tank as mentioned above.
