For a minute, i thought it was Kate and I in the town parade. It brought back memories.

We were somewhere like Idaho on our US drive in 2019 when we turned onto the main street of some small town in our RHD Pagoda from Australia  and realised we were in the middle of a parade the town was having. As we neared the end of the main street smiling and waving to the crowds, there was a police cruiser at the end so we did a quick right hand turn and I am sure everyone was wondering who these people were in the top down Mercedes in their town parade.

That is a good premise for a movie: The Parade Crasher...

Here (Nevada City, CA) they would surely welcome a wayward Pagoda into the mix.

I've done far worse than that.

Usually, you have to sit and wait for a parade to start, sometimes for an hour or more. So, I would drive around town and find a place to park near the start of the parade. When the old cars started driving by I would horn into line and only those who saw me really noticed. Of course, I would also disappear quickly when the parade was over.   :D
