Had an inoperative left brake light. Had voltage and ground, but no current flow with load.

Very good Todd.
New parts are terrible expensive, we have to repair whatever can be repaired in a professional way.
Congrats.
Maybe some citric acid will clean everything and make it look nicer.

I had to do the same thing several years ago. Late model boards are hard to find
