Right parking lights not working

Issue:  Right front and rear parking lights do not work
Car:  USA 1966 230 SL - AN headlights – No marker lights on fenders
           Existing Condition:
Headlight switch 1 click to left: (Key switch OFF)
•   Right front parking light in clear area ON
•   Right rear parking light, upper red area ON
•   No left side parking lights
Headlight switch 2 clicks to left: (Key switch OFF)
•   Left front parking light in clear area ON
•   Left rear parking light, upper red area ON
•   No right parking lights
Headlight switch 1 click to right: (Key switch OFF)
•   Left front and rear parking lights ON
•   Right front and rear parking lights OFF
Headlight switch 2 clicks to right: (Key switch OFF)
•   Both head left and right headlights ON
•   Left front and rear parking lights ON
•   Right front and rear parking lights OFF
Headlight switch 2 clicks to right: (Key switch ON)
•   Both head left and right headlights ON
•   Left front and rear parking lights ON
•   Right front and rear parking lights

Thoughts?

Very very easy.   Your fuse no.7 is blown.

Check partial diagram attached.

Thanks Bob for that nice comment


On the other hand…….  It seems to me as fuse no.7 is blown that the culprit of that is an illumination lead cable in the dashboard not well fixed on its place.   Verify illumination connections behind the speedo and tacho.

If that blows again, I mean….

If not…. Then it’s time to call the DOKTOR, I Mean myself, since that harness will need servicing….

Thank you all. Tomorrow I will check the fuse. Any other troubleshooting will have to wait until family heads home. I hope by Sunday ;)

Thank you all. You saved me from going down the rabbit hole. A replacement fuse fixed the issue.
