Gas can spout? Looks like the one on one of my cans that has a tendency to come off.

Would seen that the tube fell off when someone was filling the fuel tank with a gas can, and since whoever could not fish it out of the tank, just left it in the tank. Would also seem that it would have interfered with the fuel level float.
