Well Tom, I gotta say that while I enjoyed looking at them, those are a little dated...  My favorite, up until now (I am definitely going to try to steal some more), is at http://www.theResearchSource.net/columns/.  And I would offer some pics of my car elsewhere on that same site also.
FYI, I remember my car shopping days in LA well.  And I used to live in Santa Monica.  No surprise, but there seem to be a number of folks around LA on this forum.  If I lived there and was looking for a Pagoda I think I'd try and hunt one of you guys down!

I love how the Pagoda was captured in the old shots, when it was just a new roadster from Mercedes-Benz and not yet the design icon we all admire today.  Here is a fun website with many other makes in vintage photos.
