International Shipping Costs

Does anyone know the rough costs to ship a Pagoda from the US (East Coast) to Germany or the NEtherlands?

I shipped a non-113 in 1995 from florida (jax) to germany for around $800....I'm sure it is quite a bit more these days.  Plus this was a small & very light car.

They could not be all that expensive.  My last Pagoda was sold to a guy in Germany.  The shipping company came to my garage to pick up the car and sent it onto Long Beach where it was put into a container. Next Stop - Germany.

Yes, the numbers are correct.
Payed about the same in 1995 from Westcoast.

However, if you want to get it registered in Germany don't forget customs (10 %, 15 %??) and value-added tax (16 %, soon to be 20 %   ) on all the price including shipment!

Hi Guys,

And don't forget the dreaded TUV if you're going to DE.  We just had a monthlong nightmare trying to get the XJS's jazzed up suspension past them.  What ridiculous over-regulation (which in my opinion is going to cripple the German economy because no politician has the guts to do anything about it)!  And also petrol is now over $6 in NL and taxes are going up in DE... Sorry for the rant; it's just that people in tech transfer see the slow-motion train wreck that's coming.
