Thanks to Leonardo Peterssen
« on: April 09, 2023, 00:43:37 »
I just wanted to pass along what a great job that Leonardo did for me on my wiring harness. The task that I asked for from him was no small matter.  I did an engine swap on my 1966 230SL, and put a 1988 560SL engine in it.  I requested that he re-engineer the later model engine harness with the 1966 dash harness.  He accomplished the task in about 3 weeks, provided me with a written summary, and marked every connection on the harness.  I will feel much better driving this car knowing that the harness has been rebuilt. Thank you Leonardo.

Julian

It was definitely a challenge your project.  I am very happy that I delivered your work on time and that you are more than satisfied with the end product.

Thanks for your nice comments, I really appreciate them.

For those who have not seen the project, here some pictures

Happy to share photos when complete.  This will not be a detailed engine compartment, so please don't expect a show quality engine bay.  Normally I restore a car from the ground up, but this is a car for my wife who just wants it to be reliable, and back on the road ASAP.  I am having the fuel distributor rebuilt, and I expect it to be back to me tomorrow.  So hopefully I'll have it running and back on the road in short order.
